About Rangey Parts: Who We Are

This site didn’t start as a business plan. It started with the same frustrations most owners experience when trying to look after their own vehicles: running into absurd pricing, parts that were unavailable, or encountering items that were poorly made or incorrectly described.

Rather than accept that as “just how it is”, we applied the same approach we have used for years across our other businesses.

Rangey Parts is part of the Grantleigh Group, which operates several specialist niche online stores serving customers in the UK and internationally. This site is small and curated by design, but it benefits from experience built over a long time elsewhere.

How We Decide What To Sell

Every part on this site is here for a reason.

It is listed because we have encountered the problem ourselves, gone looking for a solution, and either found a better product, found a better price, or made something that simply didn’t exist before. We are enthusiasts first, not box shifters, and we only supply parts we would fit to our own vehicles.

That keeps the range tight, relevant, and useful.

How We Source and Make Parts

Although Rangey Parts is a small specialist site, it sits among other businesses with a much wider supply chain.

We have an office in Hong Kong and long-standing relationships with manufacturers in China. We visit factories, deal directly with trusted manufacturers, and understand how parts are designed, costed, and produced.

Importantly, we hold stock in the UK and ship from the UK, so you get fast dispatch without waiting for international shipping.

That combination allows us to step in when what’s available isn’t good enough.

Sometimes that means sourcing a part directly. Other times, it means having a part made to our specification. One way or another, we solve it.

Why Our Pricing Is Different

We sell directly to our customers and do not list our products on Amazon or eBay.

Those platforms typically add 20% or more in seller fees, which inevitably get passed on to the buyer. By selling direct, we avoid that overhead and do not have to build platform fees into our pricing.

Combined with direct sourcing and trusted manufacturing partners, this is why our prices are often lower without cutting corners on quality.

Our Approach to the Range

The parts we sell are parts we trust. That includes items we manufacture ourselves, such as L322 sill repair panels and jacking points, alongside hard-to-source components like deployable step hinges and motors, and diagnostic tools.

Nothing makes it onto the site unless it has solved a real problem.

Payment and Delivery

We accept secure payments via credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

UK orders are sent with Royal Mail Tracked, so your order arrives quickly and reliably. You will receive tracking by email and SMS. Nobody needs the pain that is Evri or Yodel, right?

International orders are shipped worldwide using DPD or UPS, with full tracking throughout.

Rangey Parts exists because we got tired of being treated like captive customers.

We must be doing something right. We can count Richard Hammond’s workshop, The Smallest Cog, among our customers.

If you drive a Range Rover and don’t like being taken for a mug, you are in the right place.
